The Argentario Golf Club features 18 panoramic holes overlooking the Orbetello Lagoon, the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Monte Argentario hillside, the combination of which creates a microclimate that allows golf to be played all year round and a refreshing breeze that mitigates the strength of the Tuscan sun in mid summer.
Immersed in the Mediterranean vegetation of ancient cork oaks and olive trees, the course is characterized by a host of small, tricky greens, a number of water hazards running alongside fairways and greens and its stunning views which makes for challenging golf in stunning, natural surroundings.
Testament to the quality of the course and its facilities, Argentario joined The PGA’s growing list of exceptional branded resorts as the ‘PGA National Italy’ in 2019. The Argentario Golf Academy features a multi-bay driving range, putting and chipping area as well as a TrackMan IIIe simulator. Moreover the course has been awarded the “Agri Cert” certification for its bio eco-compatibility and all products used for its maintenance are completely natural.
After golf, the Club House Restaurant offers healthy local Tuscan and Mediterranean cuisine whilst its extensive wooden decked terrace is the ideal place for a refreshing sundowner.
Meanwhile the Resort’s luxury hotel and independent villas offer beautifully-appointed accommodation with emphasis on design and luxury, with all 73 rooms and suites boasting private decked terraces. Off the golf course, the Resort has a 2,700 sq metre spa and wellness centre, two swimming pools (indoor and outdoor) tennis and padel courts, a mini football pitch and jogging tracks as well as a fine dining restaurant and cocktail bar.
