Poggio dei Medici

Set amidst the Tuscan hills and the Appennino mountains sits the Poggio Dei Medici resort, formed from the sixteenth century Villa di Cignano and with the eighteen hole championship golf course surrounding it. The rooms can be found in five blocks or courts – The Vicari Court, The Middle and the Villa Courts, the Tower Court and the Golf Court. All the rooms are decorated in typical Tuscan style with terracotta tile floors and pottery and wooden ceilings. All rooms are furnished with satellite TV, telephone, mini bar, safe, air conditioning, bathroom with WC and marvellous views.

In 2004 the new clubhouse was opened and with this came the outdoor swimming pools, Jacuzzi, a fitness centre, steam bath and massage rooms, a Pro shop and a convention centre. This resort has real style and couple it with the excellent golf course is a great place to have a base from which to not only play other courses but also explore the surrounding areas.
